Any help would be great
you can email me at [email protected]
Still gives me the same error...
Nice try tho...
I am out of ideas... What I have to do at this point is create a new maching group and copy all the toolpaths to the new group and then post... UGH
This is takeing forever and a day to do...
I'm not sure that will do it... as it's the NCI file I am having poroblems with... I wish there was a way to point a toolpath to a specific NCI file...
This is the error I get
Yes... and any new file I create have the correct location for the NCI file... But when I open a old file it wont post anything because it is still pointed to the old location.
My network dude moved the files I had on the server for mastercam to a different location and now when I edit an old file I can't repost because it can't find the old NCI file that goes with it... I have pointed everything I can find to the new location... New files work fine, just the old ones are a problem
How do I reset where an existing file looks for it's old NCI file...
Thanks
This may be the wrong area to post this but... A sister company in Hawthorn, CA is looking for somebody to program in X2 and be able to get there Makino Horizontal with pallet pull robot up and working... I would do it but I like my job...
Email me if there is any interest...
Correct me if I am wrong...I think what they are talking about is having an option to start a multi step threadmill operation either from the top step or bottom step... as of now you can only start at the bottom step...
I have tried that... and a few other combinations and still can't get it to work...
even tried to make the tool dia different in the tool definition and it always puts the tool length and dia the same as the tool number?
I don't get it...
Hey guys... The new shop I'm working at uses the tool dia offset +30 from the tool length offset
Example
T5 = H5 D35
Is there an easy way to make this happen automaticly when I create a new tool or when I pull a tool from a master tool list?
I found it... when I remove punit, it got rid of the " mark
I'm sooo happy!!!
Now I need to figure out how to remove the file location path from the top of the nc file and I will be Very happy!!!
Any help on this would be great.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction... I have figured out how to make the extra tool Dia info go away but now I am getting just the " mark on the drill lines only?!?
Help :-)
Hey fellas... I have been a long time user but can't figure out what my old login info was for the life of me and needed to get a question answered quick...
In the too list area when I post with the mpmaster mill post I get ...
code:
(T10 - .250 DIA 90 DEGREE SPOT DRILL - H10 - D0.2500")
(T11 - .246 DIA #D DRILL - H11 - D0.2460")
(T12 - .1935 DIA #10 DRILL - H12 - D0.1935")
(T13 - .252 DIA REAMER - H13 - D0.2520")
(T14 - .125 DIA 60 DEGREE ENGRAVING TOOL - H14 - D14 - D0.1250")
And I want this...
code:
(T10 - .250 DIA 90 DEGREE SPOT DRILL - H10)
(T11 - .246 DIA #D DRILL - H11)
(T12 - .1935 DIA #10 DRILL - H12)
(T13 - .252 DIA REAMER - H13)
(T14 - .125 DIA 60 DEGREE ENGRAVING TOOL - H14 - D14)
How do I make this happen?
Thanks in advance for all your help...
Why is it when I put my part in iso view then hit the dynamic rotate mouse button the part snaps back to top view and seems to only rotate about the z axis?
This is very anoying when you are zoomed in and the part goes flying off the screen.
Anybody else have this problem or better yet a solution?
Thanks for all your help guys. i will send this file to QC in a while. It's not just this file... It's all the files I get from Solidworks.
Thanks again,
