  1. Thanks Mike I will. It just started doing this out of the blue yesterday, kind of crazy. Thanks though I will check it out. Matt
  2. Sorry guys I am running MX4 MU2
  3. Hello all- I have a question for you guys. I was programming a 2D and 3D Rough Pocket yesterday and it would not do anything but a generate a contour. Has this happened to anyone? Thanks Matt
  4. That too bad I used it a good bit.
  5. Hello- I know that we can use net surfaces now in X2, but is there someway to get to making a coons surface using the auto chain option like in V9. I know you can use the CHook option for a coons surface with manual chain but have not found the option for auto chain. The net surface is good but sometime I think that in some cases the coons makes a better surface. Thanks Matt
  6. Normally the designers review the file prior to us receiving them and machining, since I work for design not engineering I get them from the designer who use Solidworks. I will have to have engineering send me the UG parasolids directly and try that.
  7. Hello- I am currently running X2-MR1 and when I try and create curves or make a boundary box or even sometimes shade the part Mastercam blows up and shuts down? If I do it unshaded it's fine but when I shade it forget about it. I have analyze my surfaces and removed all bad surfaces and small surfaces. I generally use .iges files. They seem to run much faster than a parasolid does. Most of the file come from Solidworks and do fairly well, but when I receive files from China which are done in UG then brought to Solidworks then to Mastercam is when I see most of the problem. I'm figuring it is either just all the different software it see before I get it or maybe it could be my graphic card. Any help would be great.
