I am still trying to get MasterCam to work on my home computer. If you remember, I am running XP and it keeps shutting my computer down. I have two hard drives and have Win 2000 on the other drive. I have installed MasterCam on this drive and it gave me the above message. Don't know if you can read it. There was two files that faild to register. MasterCam will start up but it too shuts my computer off when I try to use it. Could this error message have anything to do with my shutdown problem.
How can I drill a set of holes in a spiral pattern? I need to drill a set of 3/16 holes in a 1/4 plate in a spiral pattern. I know MasterCam has a spiral function. How do I make the arc's follow the spiral, or am I going about this the wrong way?
I turned the hardware acceleration off (slider to the far left) and started MasterCam. When it loaded the background was white. Clicked "Repaint" and the background turned black like it should be. Clicked "Create" and the screen went black and the computer restarted.

Does anybody know how to get in touch with Gene Haas. Maby a phone # or e-mail. The community college where I work has a little money and we need to but a lathe.
This is the first time I have posted to this forum and I hope this dont sound to dumb. A friend sent me an "IGS" file that opens as a solid in MC. The part has several holes in it and I need to know the X and Y center of these holes. Is there a way to "Analyze" the surfaces to get the hole centers?
