I try to go to the help and read all the info but still can not do it. Here're how I do: 1) I open up a tool geo for the slotmill, changing the geo with the doubleangle, save it under difference name (doubleangle). 2) When define tool, I choose undefine, custom tool, then it lead me ot the tool list, I choose doubleangle. But It have an error: Problem with custom tool file or data. I don't know how to copy the picture of the tool so I can paste it here but I'm sure I follow the instruction from MC help. Hi All, I just changed my computer and having a problem with the MX2 mr2 setting on communication and verified parameter. I changed the setting parity,baud rate...etc on the control def. and config file like I need. But when I open the Mx2, and used the communication, the setting are changing everytime, not the same as I set before. I check the control def, the setting are there and exact like I set.Why is it difference when I use the com. button. It is the same for tool color on the verified. Can you guy help? By the way, i only use one machine so I use MC comm. Thanks

Hi All, I need some help in offseting surface. I creatting surface from a solid model in SW. There are 3 separate surfaces on the part. When I use the flowline tool path, one surface offset in one direction, one in another. How do I fix the the surfaces so they can offset in one direction. I just download MX2 mr2 sp1 and upgrade my system. Some reason, the autosave doesn't work. I go to the map key, the current map key is ALT+A, but the dialog box not pop up when I do it. I changed it around, but still it doesn't pop up. Anybody can help? THanks.

Is there anyway to look at the geometry on the operation manager and know what level that geometry used is on? Right now, I go to each level to see if it hight light and it take too long. Thanks. MX2 MR1 sp1.

I'm using a Mc9 post to upgrade to MX2. On the Mc9, when I post, I have the N# only for beginning of each tool so it is easy to search. But when I upgrade to MX2, it post the N number in every line. I notices on the machine group>property>file>toolsetting>sequences #, that is where it put out when I post. Is there anyway that I can overide it and tell it to post using my postprocessor instead.
