  1. Okay, so in this hypothetical I am going to be pocketing or surfacing or contouring (with multiple roughing passes) a block of aluminum. Now for the first pass at each depth I will be cutting with 100% of the tool's diameter, but since I am over doing 50% stepover all the remaining passes at each depth will be with 50% of the tool's diameter. Now Since I am trying to maximize efficiency (w/o breaking the tool) I want to adjust the feed rate between the 100% first pass, and 50% remaining passes. Anyone know how to do this aside from going into the .NC code manually?
