  1. John?? lol i guess it doesn't show my name anywhere? Anyways it's doug. I've thought about calling the post guru at the distributor, but I just hate calling them with simple random questions. It's something I can deal with by fixing it by hand, it's just a pain in the... Thanks for your help though.
  2. Did that. But it gave me like 20 pages of resutls. I check the first three or so but nothing resembling my problem.
  3. When I post my programs (lathe-default) before a tool change it is always posted as an M28. I don't want the tool to go all the way back to machine home, rather for example I like X10.0 Z10.0. I know in the machine definition manager you can change your machine home position, but it still posts out an M28. Can this be changed?
  4. Hmm...i'm not sure about that. I'm actually at home right now because the frickin computer gurus at work seem to think that i don't need to be on this sight. But i will check that out in the mornin. Should it be set to that or not?
  5. Thanks for the welcom. Do a search where? Google?
  6. Problem: My default settings for my operations seem to change randomly (i.e. speeds, feeds, depths of cut, lead in/out lengths) I have not been able to put my finger precisely on when or why this seems to happen, but it is possibly when I save, close and re-open a file with toolpaths already in it and try to add to or edit the existing toolpaths. I have saved my default settings in the machine definition time and time again and the settings seem to stay. New files are always the correct defaults. Even after these settings change if I open a new file they are back to the way i want them again. Please tell me it is not just me Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
