I have tried it with gouge check on and off. Doesn't make a differance. Jerry

I am trying to avoid hitting a wall while machining the contour of another surface with a radius cutter that is lower. I want to shorten the countour by the dia of the tool so it doesn't hit the wall. I click on it and it lights up to use the feature and I put the information in and it does nothing. Jerry

In the Lead in lead out parameter page I have been trying to us the extend/shorten contour with no luck. Has anybody had the same problem or know what I am doing wrong? I have no problem in lathe but can't get it to work in mill. Jerry X2MR2SP1
