  1. Thanks Mike I'll give it a try and let you know how it works.
  2. Good Morning All, I use the export tool paths option often. After a while the opp's folder becomes very crowded. Is there an easy way to clean out the folder or a way to delete the imported tool paths when I retrieve them. Thanks in advance......
  3. exactly. This is a specific operation for bushing pockets, cavity insert pockets, guide pins ect. It works great....
  4. Yes I think that is it. Put that value in the length and the radius and use 135 for the sweep and it works every time. As long as the tool will go in the hole the tool will start at the center piont and return to the center piont after contouring the hole.... Thanks Jeff!!!!!!
  5. I understand that. This formula always dropped on the center piont and returned it was so simple. Made it nice when there was very little room for error.
  6. Good morning everyone. I had to go back to programming and I can't remember the formula to cut a pocket so the tool drops on center. It was something about the diameter of the tool and the lead in angle was 135 degrees. When I used this it dropped on center and cut returned to center and retracted. It's been a while so be kind. Thank you in advance....
  7. The Kirby Machine Company LLC. is curently looking for an operator that can manually progam a Chevalier CNC-408 die sink EDM. Brand new equipment that we need someone to operate for us. Experiance with Mastercam not nesecary but could prove helpful. We are located north east of Indianapolis Indiana. We offer good pay and a benifits package that the company helps pay for. Vacation package. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] for more information.
  8. Wow it looks like I've really opened a can of worms here. It all boils down to---I need a good programmer---. Our boss came out of the program room so he knows what it takes to get it done. We pay for what we get. Any takers?
  9. Our wages are better for the programmer than for the operators. For Indiana we pay well enough to make a good living. It's not easy work but it is steady work. Give me a call...
  10. your not kidding Rob. I'm dealing with that right now.
  11. Yes thanks John. We were hoping for a lot of people would be interested. In today's marketplace we thought that there would be some people looking for work. I can't believe how hard it is to find programmers to hire. We are trying all ways that we can think of at this point. Thanks again

  13. Thanks Tony. I guess that the problem with going back and forth from v9 to x2
  14. Good Morning All, I'm trying to project a curve onto a surface. It seems simple enough, But I cant find the comand in ver. x2. In ver. 9 its creat a curve project. In x2 its creat a surface curve, and it won't let me chain a series of curves to project onto the surface. When I pick a single curve it just exits the comand and nothing happens. Any thoughts as to a setting I could have on or not on that would help? Thank You in advance. I might add that I just installed My x2 cd yesterday and I haven't got everything just so Yet so I could have missed something.
  15. Never mind guys thanks a bunch. This is the first time I've used smart dimension. That fixed my problem. You are the best
