Hi folks i'm hoping you can help out one of our guys having a small problem with mastercam we're running Mastercam X MR1 (10.1.3.34) on winXP the problem occurs when he is trying to save a file as a .vda. It doesnt seem to occur when saving as any other file type the steps he is taking are as follows; File>Save As>Choose Destination and file name, Save as type VDA and then when I click Save I get this error. The instruction at “0x0b323c50” reference memory at “0x0b323c50”. The memory could not be “read”. Click on OK to terminate the program It then closes down mastercam. any unsaved work is lost. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks marc

Thanks for the reply we checked the config and the "restore entire toolpath" option was ticked. Our release version though is Mastercam X so I am currently installing the updates and service packs. hopefully this will sort it. thanks
