  1. Kevin, Thanks, That worked. I don't go to the misc. values page very often and forgot about that setting. Thanks again emastercam forum every one is so helpful here.
  2. I am programming a part using X2 MR2 using the HAAS machine definition. I am making 5 parts per set up so I am programming one and transforming the tool path. This works well when the WCS is relative to Top but upon posting, the second opreation of the program with the WCS relative to bottom generates a "MP ERROR" that says "ERROR-G92 WORK OFFSET('mi1')DOES NOT SUPPORT TRANSFORM SUBPROGRAM". I am using the MP HAAS post that I updated from V9 and the TRANSFORM TOOL PLANE settings are; Translate by toolplane/Group by Operation type/Copy source operations Disable posting in selected source operations/Subprogram incremental/ Work offset numbering is OFF. As far as I can tell it is a chip break drill operation that is causing the error, because when I post leaving the drill op out there are no errors. The posted G-code looks fine and runs fine in the Haas Mini Mill, but I get that uneasy feeling when errors keep poping up. Any help would be appreciated, Brad
  3. Ray, How is it going. This is Brad from BC Tech. I also looked every where I could think of to change the font or colors in the op. mgr. The only other thing I could think of is to make sure that the video card drivers are up to date and copy the video settings (screen resolution/color quality etc.) that are on another computer that does not have the problem. I will let you know if I find anything. The middle mouse button does not seem to do anything. Good luck and say hi to Jerry, Brad X2 Mill level 3 Solids Verisurf R25
  4. Mike/ Colin, Thank you guys, I Checked the control def. and arcs were enabled for all axis's, so I turned down the tol. to .001" and it outputed almost all arcs. I figured that I had somthing set wrong. Mike I am not going to send a Z2G file. I don't need to waste your time. In this case a tol. of .005" would have been fine, I thought that a tighter tol. would give a better surface finish which I needed in this case. (vacuum form mold) Thanks again you guys, Do I need to close this topic now? Brad
  5. Mike, I ended up just running it slow and it is finished now but I would like you to look at it so I can learn more. I am new to this forum. Where do I put the Z2g? And what should I name it so you will find it? Thanks for your help, Brad
  6. Mike, I an using a 2yr old Haas that has lots of memory. It seems to be tight but it does not like to process lots of small lines fast, So I almost always filter surfacing toolpaths into arcs, but this X2 version of MasterCam seems to not arc filter on the scallop or leftover toolpaths. I probably have some setting not right or somthing. In version 9 I used these tool paths often and now I find myself avoiding them because of this filtering problem. Brad Brad
  7. Colin, Where is the toolpath control def. that I would turn on arc filtering? Because I can filter on SF parallel or Contour. Thanks, Brad
  8. When using surface finish constant scallop or surface finish left over, with the filter on (2:1 arcs in x,y,z .0002 tol.)the Gcode output is very long and contains very few arcs. It is 99.5% xyz comands. My X2 version is Version 0.17.1.235. The min rad is .005 max rad. is 100 ( defalt). No matter what I try I can not get SF scallop or SF leftover to output arcs. What am I doing wrong! Help! These programs are too long. Thanks, Brad Craig B C Tech inc.
  9. I also ran the test hasp(exe) and the hasp checked out OK.
  10. I re-installed the drivers and get the same error. It asks if I want to tell Microsoft about the problem. Like they will help me!
  11. Hello All, Last night my computers operating system at work was upgraded to Windows XP Professional 2002 service pack 2 and now Mastercam X2 will not work. Do I need to reinstall it? Thanks in advance for your help. Brad
  12. Hello all, I too had trouble and was frustrated at first but after a couple of complex parts and few calls to tech support V9 now seems akward. After two weeks I feel very confortable with X2. Brad
