Thanks for the replys. just dont know why all the other SHS toolpaths will drive past, but not hybird.

How do you get hybird toolpath to drive past the bottom of the part? my depth is set at -.720. the bottom of my part is -. 620 all other SHS toolpaths will drive past, see the attached the blue is hybird and the yellow is dynamic optirough.

JParis, Please lets us know what find out. ive been bit by this also, the frist time was a $ 40k bite. we linearize when needed and run from the back ground memory, but runnung from the back ground we can only feed at 30 ipm max

What should one receive with Maintenance. Besides updates? What should you expect from your reseller with paid Maintenance?

That’s exactly what I mean and our EDM dept enters burn locations by hand all the offsets for trodes are uploaded from the CMM Inspections .so sometimes they fat finger the wrong numbers. Thanks for the input

no its looking in x3mu1 folder but if i use the icon it points to the right folder with errors looks like a config problem damh IT guys should I reinstall it? or do you have a fix ?

It’s looking here C:\Program Files (x86)\mcamx5\chooks . Shouldn’t it be looking here C:\Program Files\MCAMX5\CHOOKS ? but this folder is empty !?

I have a new computer dell T3500 running XP 64 bit 1st problem I know . 2nd X5MU1 I’m trying to run a /or any C-Hook and I get the Unknown file type error message . how can I fix this ?
