No problems so far here. Posting to a makino mill.

I have had this in the past but came to find flaws in the surface geometry. In my case it did show up in verify.

I'd have to agree with Matt If the files are coming from Pro E use .stp. I have always had problems with Pro E files in Mcam.

Very good question I've been wondering that for years!

Believe it or not HSM is alot easier on your spindle too. I have done repeat jobs both ways and the end result is that HSM costs about 30% less than conventional methods.

In your display control set your step to 1000 and your refresh to 10000!

Trying to translate to specific positions on a single part!
-
Yes! What Doyleg said!
-
Yes it does work but you may only select 1 point at a time. Wich means you end up with multiple transforms!
-
Just simply want to translate to multiple positions on the same plane!
-
I ended up doing the 74 transforms! Thanks for everyones input it sure does help! Maybe CNC should think about adding this capability to transform! Patterns seem to be diminishing for me. Thanks again for your help!
-
I only have 6 offsets available and 74 forms to cut!

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know of a way to translate a toolpath to multiple different positions that are not in a pattern? Using MCX2 MR1 SP1.

OSG and MILLSTAR are my two favorites!

I would say OT can go and try to keep 2 or 3 years worth of the rest due to the fact that alot of my questions have been answered by simply searching old threads.
