  1. There is 1 gig of RAM on the system. There aren't any temp files because the program has not been used yet because it will not start as explained in my first posting. Not sure why this is....
  2. I am a tech coordintaor in a k12 school. I installed Mastercam software version 7.2b on a windows XP Pro machine with 1 gig of RAM available. When I log onto the computer as admin, I can run the Mastercam software without any problem. When I log onto the computer as a student, the Mastercam program gives this message when I try to run it: Warning - error opening c:mill72tempdb.ovf When I click OK, I get this message: Not enough memory available. Then the program closes. Can someone help me with this problem? Thank you,
  3. Is there a setting within Mastercam version 7.2 that allows the program to convert the nc file to an ncd file?
  4. Hi Titus, I tried your suggestion but it will not allow the compatibility settings to be modified since the batch file resides on a network server. Back to the drawing board..... Blusteryday
  5. I have a batch file on a network server that converts nc files to ncd files that are downloaded from my computer running Windows 98. However, this batch file will not convert the nc files to ncd files when downloading the files to the server from my (other) computer that is running Windows XP Pro. What is happening is that I am saving the nc files on a network server then sending them from the server to the controller. I am hoping someone may know if this conversion of files is possible using a machine running Windows XP or do I have to stay with the machine running Windows 98? Thank you.
