i get this error after opening MCX2 MR2, "ERROR(L25,CMcamX2-MR2CHOOKS5axmsurf.ft)Unable to open resource module chooks5AxMSurf.dll." I tried dragging my chooks fron MR1 but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

After opening x2 mr2 there is a dialog box that pops up a list of files, i think it say c-hooks and something else unable to read. It seems there was a warning of this when I downloaded mr2. Anyone know what this is and what I can do to stop it? I can exit out the dialog box and MCX2 MR2 seems to run fine, but it still concerns me.

When posting I have been using the subprogram option when transforming a toolpath. It posts fine but when put on a machine its gives an alarm. If I just post it with no options in the transform toolpath screen it runs fine on the machine. Any suggestions???

i am getting an error while trying to post a program. It says "Warning Error Opening C:mcamx2-mr1millnc0987.nc" and then it gives the file I am trying to post. can anyone make heads or tails out of this??? Thanks

I have noticed a "bug" if you will when posting a program for mill, its seems sometimes the post doesnt pick up all of the tools, then when you go back it gives you an option to post the rest of your tools. why does it not recognize everything the first time. Its a real pain to have to go back and edit the dang ol' program. It doesn't go in any order. Any know why this happens?

thanks for all the replys, I ordered my book from barnes and noble, its a 600 page book that comes with the student version of mastercam x. Apparently you can do everything on the software except save files. The book is like $55. i have a guy who i am sitting with who has been using MC for about 1.5 years, I will be learning from him and going thru the tutorials books as well.

I am going to be learning Mastercam after using Autodesk Autocad. What would be my best bet to learning the program. I have ordered a book called "Learning mastercam x mill" The review scorw was 4points out of 5. Any other suggestions out there? Also how much different is x2 from x?
