  1. we have purchased Mastercam Art, I have two versions of mastercam, MR1 and MR2 seperate from eachother, MR1 was giving me too many crash issues so we installed MR2. anyway, my art went into MR1 how can I take it out of there and put it into MR2 ?? Does all this make sence? Thanks
  2. could the G93 be on and I just can't find it? I have run a few of these wheels and the machine runs fine until it reads a low feed then its like the machine has come to a stop, I have went back into the post and changed the low feeds to a higher one (6.123) and it will run better is this a good thing or am I really screwing things up?
  3. G93? no I do not see one
  4. I am using a rotary axis substitution and my diameter is correct 3", The posts seem very long here is an example of a few lines X.5459 A24.42 F184.75 X.5315 A24.864 F156.74 X.5159 A25.225 F126.45 X.5311 A25.738 F166.46 does this help any? I have made 3 of these wheels and they seem ok, within specs
  5. I am making embossing wheels,3"round 1"wide with various designs , logos , printed text ,made out of brass for embossing on leather, anyway my problem is, when I post there seems to be a feed rate on almost every command, as high as (for example)256.371 to as low as .12-.03-.38 its these low feed rates that are the problem, when the machine reads the low feeds it seems like it comes to a complete stop, I dont think this is correct , does all this make sense? I'm still new to this mastercam stuff ,but I'm catching on Thanks Dan Robbins Coastal Pet Products
  6. every time I try to set a new tool plane/construction plane so I can machine the bottom of a part the screen will freeze, if you try to escape or do anything it will crash, and then the crash report window appears I fill a report and try to send it to mastercam and that crashes too! has this happend to anyone else? or is this just my lucky day
  7. when I post that same program using a Generic Fanuc 4x mill it will post correctly, I am begining to think that it might be in the New Machine Def that mastercam sent us
  8. we had to install a new Machine Def from mastercam (X2v_Hardinge_Fanuc_VMC) I have went thru everything I can think of to check that the A-rotary is correct, but I must be missing something?
  9. Hello All This Mastercam stuff is all new to me, went to school for it ,read some books and now I have been thrown in front of a computer and told to write programs, and also run a new (brandyspankin new) Bridgeport XV 710 VMC that just arrived last week, and this is our first attempt at CNC The pressure is on , so bear with me I will be asking a lot of questions, some may be simple and stupid but that is the best way for me to learn, so anyway here is my question. I wrote a small program with a rotary move (A-move correct?) yes we also have a rotary table, when i post this it will show up a B-move in the post, we are using cimco as the processor. hope someone understands my garble Thanks Dan
