  1. Tried today and got it working. Will save me loads of time and make the result much more accurate. Thanks everyone. I now know where to come with my mastercam problems.
  2. Thanks again. Will try when I get into work in the morning. Hope it works as easy as you say. First time on the forum, will use it more.
  3. Thanks for your quick replies. By doing as you said, is it possible to then save that view to top view? Nearly all our jobs are in car line and we have to move them into tool line (we are plastic mould makers). Once the model has been turned to a boss for example it then needs to be saved so we can measure and view in side and front views.
  4. I have mastercam V 9.1. Can you help and tell me how to rotate a 3d model to a specified surface. I.E if I have a surface at an unknown compound angle, can I pick a surface and rotate the model to get that surface true to the top view. Have seen demo of mastercam X, is it possible in X. Any help appreciated.
