Yeah!! Eureka and Shazam!!
That's what I want. Yup the simulation was
messin with my melon.
Thank you all for your suggestions and input.
Ain't Mastercam the bees' Knees!!
I made my own custom 3D toolpath that is already offest by 1/2 the cutter dia. Now I want to select the custom 3D toopath geometry and still output cutter comp. Wear will offest the geometry again. I want to drive the tool center
on the geometry and still output G41.
Change at point will not allow this for 3D toolpaths.
I would like to output cutter comp on a 2d or 3d toolpath driving tool center on the geometry.
An option like "compensation type: off w/comp"
I sometimes want to drive the cutter center and still output a G41/G42.
Quick View
Actually I should have said
"right click on an .mc8 or .mc9
file."
Quick View would show a bitmap pic
of the file without having to open MC.
Is it available in X²?
You used to have to enable it in CNCreg.exe
and register ActiveX/DLL components like
mc8view2.dll
I don't see a CNCreg.exe in X².
What ever happened to quick view?
Right click on an .mcx file in windows
and a quick view option appeared that would
show a bitmap of what the file looks like.
In ver 9 you would rotate your view to get a view number then set your WCS to that number.
What happened to the view numbers? Ver X2 mr1 sp1
forcing me to use left side but it's not left side. I want to rot. view from top x-90 y-90.
and set WCS to that view.
