Needs some help. Making a circular die punch. 3/4" length with two diameters at 1.7" (.1" width) down to 1.5" (.650 width). With an OD keyway that is cut through both diameters down to about 1.4" diameter. My question is when I select the keyway solid face for contour the mill cutter cuts the large diameter and cuts air over the small diameter until it plunges to the depth of the small diameter. Without creating more geometry and operations is their a way to cut the keyway at the large diameter only, until it meets the small diameter and complete the keyway, with just the keyway face geometry. Any help will be much appreciated. TY, Chris
