  1. Hello guys, I need to cut a die with a small endmill. I bought a .047" x .050" of cut endmill from harvey tool. #31047-C6 Im gonna cut low carbon steel on a router machine. I can run from 18 000 - 24 000 rpm ( or below 18k too) Anyone could suggestion me RPM and feed. I was thiking of 24000rpm and 4.8 "/min. And probably .005-.010" depth of cut with ramping about 3/8" depth total? Time is not a issues, I just dont wanna burn that tool tool. Im will be using blowing air alot. Thanks
  2. Im currently working with a P4 3000 with 2gig. Right now, I am currently working on very big project that need huge toolpath processing. Mold that are bigger than 100'' x 100'' Can anyone tell me if I get a new computer, faster, like 6000+ and 2 or 4 core will increase significatly my toolpath processing and probably cut that time by 2? RIght know somes toolpath takes me about 2-3 hours to generate, because of the scallop height. If you think I should increase my computer capability, can you tell me what combo should I take. CPU, ram, Video Card. or anything else. Thank you in advance. !
