  1. Hi, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to define lathe stock for a forging to reduce'fresh air' machining ? using x2 mr2 Thanks for any replies.
  2. Thanks for the reply Matt, I am a bit confused as I understand the 'surface finish project' toolpath is grouped under mill toolpaths , can I use them even though I am programming for a lathe do you know? Thanks.
  3. I have a c-axis lathe (no y) ,the geometry can be either solid or surface all I want to do is engrave initials on a spherical dia using a ball nose slot drill, easy a a milling machine but I find lathe a little bit more difficult in m/cam personally. I am running X2. yes there are more factors involved but the basics are in the question , I was hoping for some advice rather than a lecture! Cheers
  4. Hi, can anyone tell me how I could engrave letters on a spherical diameter ? or rather how I could wrap the letters on to the sphere (I think c-axis x contour would machine it?) Thanks !
  5. Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert a MASTERCAM part file created in imperial measurements to metric ? Many Thanks.
