hate to sound like an idiot - but how would i "simplify" the geometry.

i believe arcs - the contour toolpath was created off of a face from a solidworks model is there a setting to blen these better?

using X3 - i roughed out an 11" circle with a 1/2" endmill leaving .01 and came back with a 1/4" endmill to do some clean up and pockets - the OD face has flats and is not a smooth contour. did i loose a setting when i switched over from X2? i am using a HAAS thanks
