  1. So I am attempting to do this with a 5 axe router. ***or dual spindle machine. Is there anything(parameter wise) that I need to keep in mind? Probably going to machine out of UHMW or Nylon. Thanks for your help.
  2. We have PRo E and Catia currently for 3D CAD packages. I can open it as surfaces but when you say cut the opposite side of the part im not sure exactly how to do that. They are generally not hollow or even have a nominal wall thickness. Is it seriously that easy if youhave the solids package? Can I just use the "how much material to leave" parameter to cut a little clearance in to the nest? My experience is limited to modifying plastic parts(cut outs, holes, simple stuff. Thank you very much for your help but please bear that in mind.
  3. We have a 5 ax ***or Motion master 8055 controller. Currently using McamX3 Mill level 3(about to go to X4). I wanted know if anyone knew how to take a 3D cad file (.stp or .IGES) and basically machine a nest to hold the part for fixturing? Is it possible and whats the best way of going about it. We do not have the solids package
