  2. Good morning Gents, I have called up an old part program in V9.1 SP2 and on one of the operatins there is a little ghost icon that says "posting off". Will this affect my posting and if so how do i get rid of it???
  3. lol ya had me confused. I see a "dispose" option in untrim with a "k, b, and d" option???
  4. Thanks. I got the surface extended but now i'm having issues trimming the surfaces
  5. Good morning Gents, Trying to program a mould and I'm having issues extending surfaces. The error generated says "cannot extend trimmed edges of trimmed surfaces" Any idea how i can get by this hurdle??? Thanks for the help guys Cheers!!
  6. Could someone point me in the right direction please lol. I'm using version 9 still and i'm trying to program a contour on a 4th axis rotary table. When i backplot the toolpath it climb mills and all looks great but when i post it and run it, its conventional milling. As far as i can tell, if i were to change all the "A" values from positive to negative i would get what i'm looking for. Is it possible for mastercam to reverse the rotary table direction???
  7. hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and the mastercam programming. Trying to fill in for flycut (hey vic) who went out west and lemme tell ya, it's no easy feat lol. I'm trying to surface an arc but i'm getting a series of flats as opposed to a smooth surface. Is there some means of converting the splines to arcs to achieve a smoother surface?? Cheers
