I've loaded v8 on window7 32 bit, can get it to open with no problem but wont do anything else, not even close out.

We had ProNC but they gave it to a sister company about 8 years ago. Thats when they got Mastercam for me.

Ï'm still useing 8.1 because the company I work for thinks its good enough. But they upgrade our engineers ProE every time a new one is released.

I changed our post to do G0G90Z5.0 before tool changes and going home to get above. That clears about 99% of our parts and if it doesnt I change it in editor. I dont know about X3 posts to recomend changes, we are still using Ver 8.1

I only use G49 at the end of program when sending home (G49 Z0 X0 Y0 E0). It cancels cutter offset. I havent used it when changing tools. When you put in H? D? of the next tool it over rides what was there. When I used the original ending in the V8 fadal2 post with a Z +? -? in the fixture offset it would be that much above or below 0. I dont know if thats the correct way but it works for me.
