This part is a gearbox for a winch.
this is a horz machine, which we can unload and Load 7 different various accessories.
And have a tool magazine whit 170 seats.
We have one who has made a post processor for us
but he says that there must be something wrong with the parameters of the angular head.
it changes -X to +X when we go from milling to drilling when we use the same angels
We can change the post, so it's right
but we want that we can program this manually to,
as we were told when we had 1 day training on the machine, and the manu was that we should just write Tool_Holder (0,0) and our angles, and then should it change X,Y,Z by itself
We have contacted the seller, but is pretty poor service from them.
We have 2 different angle heads 1 with C axis, and 1 with a C and A axis "Tool_holder(C,A)"
only C axis
C and A axis
Hi I am new to the forum here
We have purchased a new machine FRAL400 a milling machine, that we have problem with the angle head..
Control we use is simens840D
and we use Mastercam X3
I have an X-axis 22000mm on the y-axis 5000mm
We have a problem with our angle head, angle head has a C axis that rotates
360 degrees, when we work in the 0 degrees stays the milling head vertical down,Then we can use this
program to mill the contour
N10 LOAD_TABR
N20 T="390125FRES"
N30 L06
N40 G17 G54 G64 G90
N50 Z1700
N50 TOOL_HOLDER(0,0)

N180 G1 X-80.208
N190 G0 Z1925
N200 M5
N210 ROT
N220 M0
but when we turn our head 45 degrees, we must replace the x axis with the y axis
so then we must create new programs to the next angle
though the contour is the same
then we have to program like this
N230 TOOL_HOLDER(45,0)
N240 TOROT
N250 G54
N260 F1000
N270 S500 M03
N280 G0 Z1925

N370 G1 Y-80.208
N380 G0 Z1925
N390 G0 Y-200

but when we post out, the mastercam X3 using the same contour on all axes
like this

Does anyone have experience with an angle head,
or been in the same situation that can help me with this ?
