  1. quote:

At my last job i went to x3 but becuase of some bugs decided to stay with x2 mr2 sp1.

It sounds like your taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back...

If you can down load the Mu1 patch for X3 it works well and theres not all that much of a learning curve.

  2. Check your Graphics accelerator Settings, Config, Screen

A lot of your computers need to to have it disabled/enabled to fix this problem.

Many of you say its Mastercams Problem but did anyone of you stop and think uh maybe its a graphics card problem because my computer is 5 years old...

  3. I've looked in to your problem and all i could find is a retract setting in home/ Ref points under linking parameters. Have you tried to come in with a 2D Rest mill operation? Your part doesn't appear to have any radiuses in Z , the 2D has the option to keep tool down to eliminate the retract between cuts.

  4. The X4 Demo Is free... With the purchase of Mastercam U or Streaming Teacher. I've yet to get an answer for the price of just the product. The HLE version can post, but it can not communicate with any machine, or save the post so it can be transfered to a machine via Thumb drive.

    Jay Kramer:

The Previous Demos Were Very Limited. As you of all People should know considering you you train it. I hope Your Very Happy With HLE or are You still Training in X?

  5. When Using Multi Threading there are 2 states the feature goes through; an Idle state where the hour glass is active. When the Hour Glass goes away and the + Courser is in view you can work. If you try to do anything when the hour glass is up it will freak out Mastercam. Also keep in mind you have to configure multi threading to the right amount of post processors your comp has. Mastercam defaults this feature to 2 processors. If you try to cheat and say you have 2 when you only have 1 it will make your work go even slower.
