Ouch, why would mastercam limit the importability? Or is it Autodesk not releasing the code to Mastercam? Perhaps I should put that on the wish list at AutoDesk?

I am experiencing a problem with importing files to mastercam x2 and x3. When I bring them in from Solidworks I also get the "history tree" that was used to create the model. But when I import an .ipt from Inventor 2008, I do not get the "history tree" it's just a dumb solid. Does anyone know what step I'm missing here? I REALLY appreciate your help!
