Okay... Hopefully Mastercam will have next version released before we have a new machine. My boss claims that we must have the machine producing real parts within two weeks.... And I don't want to program this type of machine manualy!

Yes, there is some time limits to these licenses and I also believe there is some limitations to the functionality of the software!

Btw, how soon is very soon?? Mori Seiki machines comes with a license of Esprit I've been told several times about "next release" and some of those items are still not completed!

Hi, We are using Mastercam for Milling and Turning, but so far we only have single Turret Lathes. We are now in progress to buy an Twin Turret machine and I wonder how Mastercam handles this type of machine? Is it possible to control and program both turrets or do you need to program them separately? Can I chose if I want to use upper/lower turret on sub/main-spindel? Is it possible to simultate the entire workflow with docking and synchronizations?

I can´t find Active report in my drop down menu in system configuration/setup sheet program. I trien to choose "other" and then mcamx4/common/reports/active_reportsviewer but it´s not working properly. Is this wrong? Should i relate to another file?

I have a logitech V100 laptop mouse,but i have the same mouse at my job and it´s no problem to rotate on that computer. Today something strange happened. I had a file on usb that i had started to work on at my job and when i started that file on my home computer suddenly it rotated!!! But only like 3 times, then it didn´t work anymore... I think it might be a bug in X3...

I uninstalled setpoint yesterday but i can´t find the middle button setting. Maybe you´re having a different windows? I´m using vista business...

Been there done that Eric,i think it might be something with the Dell Setpoint setting progam that starts automatically when i select Comtrol panel/mouse/setpoint setting. I can´t find the middle button anyehere there... Thad i´m using Mastercam X3

Thanks for your help but it´s already on spin. and the thing with the alt button didn´t work either,all that is happening is i see a magnifying with a + inside. This is soooo strange?

I´m having problems with my computer at home. At work i can press the mouse wheel button and dynamic rotate,but at home i only get a crosshair and then nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Rich Thomas the thing is you only run register.dll the error you get is because you try to unregister. Skip the /u commandApparently the file is already unregistered or something?

Have u tried this?: Click start button. In the search field,type cmd.exe but do not press enter. When cmd appears on top of the white screen right click it and choose to run as admin (or what ever it says i am not sure because i have swedish windows ) In dos prompt type as follows: cd McamXcommonsworksdata [ENTER] regsvr32 swdocumentmgr.dll [ENTER] (NOTE!If u have mastercam installed in any other directory type that instead of McamX) Done!!!

I have Mastercam X3 MU1 newly installed. I thought that it would help if i reinstalled it but not.. :)Unfortunately i don´t know which Solidworks version it´s a file from Swedish ABB, they are not famous of cooperating. I run under Vista Professional,latest service pack. I have tried to open the file on 4 computers but it seems hopeless. Strange is that our Mastercam support (who is trying desperately to solve the problem) can open it without any errors??? I´m really confused here... I´ll try your thing later Bryan, and i´ll get back to you.. -
I get this annoying message when i´m trying to open a solidpart file. Why can´t i open it?
