Anyone have any experiances using verisurfs "Veriprobe" module?

Can you clarify to me what the variables stand for? also, do you have a complete coded program for probign a strait line (probe 2 points, find the angle, rotate by that angle) These are the things I need clarification with: - TRAORI - MEAS - STOPRE - $AA_MW[Y] - AROT - TRAFOOF - ROT What are the variables initialized to at the beginning and which ones? Also, how can you check if the probe is activated (ready to be used)? How do you turn it on/off?

well, we have the renshaw probe for the machine, but it's never been used. What i would like to do, is setup my trim tool on the machine, probe it to find its actual location, then translate my trim program so it matches where the tool actuly is. i need some help as to how we would use the renshaw probe to find the location of my tools.

Does anyone have some experiance with probing on a 5 axis using a Sinumerik 840D that could guide me through the process?
