  1. Thank you very much for your suggestions. What we ended up doing was creating a helix and using that geometry for our tool path. We also had to create a circle at the top and bottom so we could get one full rev before ramping. The lead ins and outs worked good doing it this way. We had to turn off 'infinite look ahead'. In this application we are grinding glass (quartz) and are using diamond tooling. We are cutting a vertical shaft that has a boss at the top and wanted to start from the bottom so we could finish up the bottom side of the boss. I've attached a screenshot. Thanks again, M test.doc
  2. How do I contour ramp z+? In other words ramp up from Z-3." to Z0. in .05" increments. I know how to ramp down. Thanks in advance. Mwise228
