  1. I had this problem before with drill cycles and someone gave a simple post fix but I can't find the post or email anywhere Can anyone help? We're using X2. Thanks, Randy
  2. I never understood why people will pay to wear somebody's advertising. Randy
  3. Thanks. It "looks" good. I'll try to run it later. Randy
  4. We have a Cameron tabletop mill/drill. Milling seems to be ok but the code for drilling is all out of place: N100 G99 G83 Z-.05 R.1 Q0. F2. N110 X2. N120 X1.4142 Y1.4142 N130 X0. Y2. N140 X-1.4142 Y1.4142 N150 X-2. Y0. N160 X-1.4142 Y-1.4142 N170 X0. Y-2. N180 X1.4142 Y-1.4142 N190 G80 (PROGRAM NAME - TESTMINI ) (DATE=DD-MM-YY - 13-04-07 TIME=HH:MM - 11:39 ) N200 G20 N210 G00 G17 G49 G80 G90 G98 ( NO. 67 DRILL TOOL - 1 DIA. 5. It worked, of course, and now I understand why. Thanks, guys! Randy
  6. Hi, I imported (converted) a metric Autocad drawing and when I analyze or try to dimension the part the result is still metric. If my config is set for inches, why is it acting like metric? What do I need to do to edit in inches? Thanks, Randy
  7. Yep, that ratio menu is really touchy. I check and recheck to see if my selection stuck. Half of the time it doesn't the first time or two. When it works, however, problem solved!! RR
  8. Hmmmmmmm..... It seems that when I was setting the filter ratio before, it was reverting back to something other than 2:1 and not saving the change. I found that after selecting 2:1 I need to click somewhere else in the window which changes the color in the ratio selection "box" and then seems to save my selection. Backplot shows arcs now. S'pose you all knew that! But really, using "find" I can't find "arcoutput" in my post. I can find it in different version of the post that I had tried once. Anyway, I'll try cutting again. Thank you very much. Randy
  9. Hi all, My problem is that I'm getting facets on the surface of a cylinder. I'm using "finish/parallel" which I think should be creating arcs in the XZ plane. The facets are around .050" in length. I've looked for something which is set to .050" but don't see anything. Before asking here I read the archives and tried filtering with no luck. I don't have the line in the post for "arcoutput". My machine is a Miltronics MB19. Maybe it can't do XZ or YZ arcs which might explain the missing line in the post? I didn't realize I could change the color of the arcs and lines in backplot, thanks. What other info would you like? Thanks, Randy
  10. helix_arc is set to all planes. I don't seem to have arcoutput. Can I add it? where? Time to leave work now. Back tomorrow. Thanks for all the help so far. Randy
  11. ...but there are in the X, Y plane. Is is a MasterCam or a post setting? Thanks, Randy
  12. Thanks everybody. I had not posted and had not clicked "save nci". I assumed some things that I shouldn't have. Randy
