I have many years mastercam up to positional 4th axis but most my 5-axis tool programming has been in APT and Unigraphics. I'm still using V8 but that shouldn't matter. I'm looking for some online help getting started doing 5-axis milling. The book I found was $65.00 and since I don't have and money right now I can't afford it. I know this would be a long shot but is there anyone willing to loan me a 5-axis mill book? Or maybe I have something I could use to trade for it. Have you or anybody else heard anything about the cheaper brands like the HP 2003? They go for about $30.00 on ebay? Why are they so cheap when the others are all $80.00 to $200.00 including Labtec?

I'm considering a spaceball or mouseball. Are there any brands or models that give anybody any problems? Any that I should stay away from? I heard that V8 MC supports them and when I move to V9 I'll still want to use it. I'm not sure if windows XP will add any problems to the picture but if you can sound off please do. I switched the post and have had the last job posted through it come out incrmental instead of absolute but now the new program won't do it. I even switched the screan configure, NC,Misc values line to 1 which is supposted to be incremental. What else can I do? Paul 203-234-9974

I have an angled boundry that's all on the same numbered plane (11) and can't figure out how to zigzag up it while in the top construction plane.
