Can anyone please show me how to probe the 2.4042 dim with productivity+ . only one touch per surface. it keeps probing places where there isnt even any lines.
PROBES.mcx-9
Not one download in 1 1/2 days, so the answer to my original post is no uses this Productivity+ or likes it. End of post. TY all. I can long hand all our pre and final on machine probing way quicker. Now to be fair I dont have custom macro turned on with this 90 day trial which might be the trick to this whole thing. So they should give the custom macro with the trial. Whatever.

i have searched and searched for a video or some kind of help on this and nothing.

The regular inspection plus macro's installed in the control do all of that.
yeah i thought so also

I don't understand why the mastercam inspection plus plugin wants you to calibrate and use a different set of variables than the inspection plus already int he machine. IMO this does nothing other than complicate the process and increase the risk of an accident.
yes since one program we use hand written probing then to start using this P+ we would have to recalibrate many times a month not liking it or im missing something. i did get the calibration partof it to post but still not sold on the whole deal

i feel i have the proper macros in the common folder and i have posted a simple probe bore but the HAAS would throw alarms about incorrect calibration mode so thats when i started having the calibration issues. im on a 90 day trial and not starting out so good

Anyone liking the productivity+ for HAAS. i feel like i can longhand pre and post part probe programming alot easier than what ive seen in the few days I have been playing with it. And I am having no luck with the calibration part of it. keeps telling me no toolpath found but i can see it probe a ring in verify. Not impressed at all.

I have the final program the way you have it there it's just on the one I sent in here on simulator it looks right but post is not right. Weird next time I talk to seller I'll see what he says. Thank you.

Can anyone explain why its posting Z moves. im using mppostability_haas_umc-750.pst

I am running x7 and im getting no output of the feed rate or plunge rate. I am getting spindle rpm and est. machining time so
it is seeing feed rates obviously but not outputting to report. could it be that im x7 and this was written in x9.

the lollipop wants to come in and out of the hole near the end of cycle way off center and gouge the hole. never had much luck with this and did work around well this job is radius only and cant get proper toolpath. any help and or explanation would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.7 MM X .0197 AND 8MM X .0197 LOLLIPOP.MCX-7 hope this attachment works

im hearing you can get 12000 rpm out of the HAAS UMC750 even though it comes with only 8000 rpm. does anyone know if this is true and that it is enabled in the parameters or some such. ty in advance.

yes the different width letters make it dificult to center under each line the only sugestion i got elsewhere was to make 360 diferent files with each number centered gotta be an easier way
-
i need to etch a scale at 1 in increments and getting the numbers below the inch lines is a real hassel any suggestions the scale is 360 inches long
-
first off you gotta calibrate probe with 9804 not 9803 then you write
G65 P9823 D1. A0 B45. C90. This wil probe a 1.0 inch bore at 0,45,and 90. deg.
you can get probing manual H-2000-6222-00-A in a pdf file from renishaw

operator decided to polish a 5 ft long by 3\4 in rod in spindle and it was taking to long he jacked spindle up to 1200 rpm maybe (it was a long time ago) any way that bar went bent grabed him threw him 5 or 6 ft up and sideways ripped his arse wide open. He was allright after some stiches and embarisment. the worse part was two days later he had to go about 75 miles north of Pittsburgh Pa to have a DUI hearing so he drove on one cheek the whole there and back LOL

Oh yeah and we don't put X Y Location on G81 line either just the way we manually program for years
-
Hello Santa Clarita any luck remembering
-
Every HAAS I run if thers no L0 on G81 line it will drill where it sits then start locations after G81 line is there a setting in control I can't remember that and I'm home not work

hope on the horizon yee hah

i am using Haas VF - TR Series 5 Axis Trunnion Mill and in simulation the tool plane front always flips 180 degs in the A axis when simulating but the posted program does not have that move in it am using post Generic HAAS VF-TR_series 5X Mill. Ok i face mill B0 A90 then B90 then B180 is front view and in sim this is where it flips to A-90 i guess it would be (move not in posted program) then back to A90 to run B270. simply trying to make a presentation and i cant have this.
-
That got it thank you. And thank you. I can now say not getting older getting wiser.

I see in the control def. break rotary axis moves is check marked. I try to un check and after saving it I go back in and the check mark is back. Is this something that might fix my problem if I figure out how to get un checked to stay unchecked
-
it took all the clamp and unclamps out but is still posting every 1 deg. move and showing a short X move in between each 1 deg. move to simply move the rotary 45 deg and the X back to start feed position.

didn't mean to come off with attitude but this is not a user friendly setup in my opinion. end of story.
