I am trying to do a boolean add on 2 solids. After I select my two bodies I get a warning that says I have a parasolid kernel interface error, boolean error, operation would result in a non-manifold body.
I've checked both solids and can't figure out what my problem is.
Does anyone have any insights?
Thanks
Matt
thanks for the help. Between the engineer and myself we figured it out with your help Allan!
Thank goodness for the internet and people like yourself. Everything is so much quicker, easier, and efficient. How did people ever get so far in the past?

I have a job that requires a curve to be machined out as smoothly as possible on the mill. The curve was formed by a formula. I was wondering if I can input the formula into ver 9.0 somehow, and use the software to produce the curve; rather than me inputing x and y co-ordinates every half millimeter and joining the dots.
I just started using solids v9 and I only have a tutorial book. It doesn't mention anthing about ploting. When I plot a solid drawing it only prints the wireframe.
Is there any way to see the surfaces as they are shown on the screen?

I'm having a hard time trimming a flat surface to a curve or to a surface. I keep getting the "cannot trim surface, selected curves do not form a closed boundary" message. I've tried extending the two surfaces until they extend beyond eachother before trimming, but I still have had no luck. Any suggestions.
