okok, Im gonna be more specific blame my boss for the purcase. he got the card prior to the machine to me assembling the machine and now i have to deal with it. the ogl implementation in the ati drivers is **** , i know. but the card in it self is by no means **** . you do get a lot of polygons for the money but not very good lines, culling and healing with gamescards. pro cards tend to be pretty expensive if you want the same poly push. anyone of you using nvidias quadro cards? ltr, thomas w

For those who dont know i recomend checking out the whitepaper and the general info at www.steptools.com. there is some really interesting reading there. must say i am struggling a bit with the 800 page AIM docu thou. the plug is available for download at the site as well. what im after is people with experience of machines with embedded step nc interpreters. for us the possibility of embedded material data that can be linked to machine sensors and the tolerancing of certain aspects of the part would mean great increases in productivity. ltr, thomas w

third and final post for now. the company i work for just bought MC router. initiallt we used the post supplied by multicam. it worked fine untill i started doing toolcomp when it did not produce any g4142 at all. when i inspected the post i found it lacks these routines alltgether. our uk MC supplier has said he would add the routines to the post, but i just wanted to check if it hadnt been done before. anyone out there using MC on a multicam m series machine, with a post including toolcomp? regards, thomas w

Hello again. built a brand new machine to do cad and programming on. picked out a Radeon card cos it was pretty good price compared to gforce or quadro. have some redraw problems when doing vrification using true solid. dunno if this is a bug or related to the card. so far i have had no problems with any other apps on the card. anyone else have similar experiences? regards, thomas w

hey all. have been following the progress of the development of this STEP extension since it first went public. recently steptools inc released a beta plug for MC. anyone on the forum have any comments or first hand experience with using it? regards, Thomas W
