  1. I need some help guys! I'm trying to communicate with my Mazak M-Plus controller through Ethernet using FileZilla .I have no idea what to set the T parameters to so i can communicate ? I would appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thanks
  2. Is there a easy way to make coolant flood on the default? I use coolant on ever operation in our shop. I know its easy to go into every operation and turn it on but I want it on all the time and I will cut it off if needed.Thanks in advance guys!
  3. FYI! Just figured it out ! I had cut my tool in half and it was an open part and it has to be a closed part in order to do boolean remove! Thanks for all the help Rob and Jdowe
  4. Rob, I tried letting it stick out past the top of the solid a bit so I could pick it and it did allow me to pick it but it gives me an error stating - Parasolid Kernel interface error boolean error operation would result in non manifold body??
  5. JDowe, Quick mask disables when boolean is chosen??
  6. I will give that a try and see if i can extend it. This is what i was trying to do when i had it above the other part by 1in.Sometime some of the simplest things can be so frustrating! LOL Thanks Man for the help

Rob, that is exactly were i started and when i click on boolean remove it ask for target body (i click on my stock) and then it ask for tool body, (here is were i have a problem) I have to unshade my solid so i can see it since they occupy the same space and it still will not let me click on my other solid body. It tries to click on the same solid again? Im lost!
  8. I need some help here guys! Any help will be appreciated ! I have a solid part drawn and i have it at 1in in z , now I have a solid body extruded from 0 in z to -1. in z . I want to put the two together ? one represents my stock and the other represents a cavity that I will be cutting. I have been wrecking my head trying everything i can think of, i really thought boolean remove would be it but no luck. Any ideas? I'm using Mill X4Mu3 mill level 3

I have a part that i have to build a mold for and im trying to get my boss to buy the mold plus add on and I was wandering if anyone would be willing to separate this part into cavity core using their mold plus add on so I can pitch it to my boss and be like see what this can do ! I have the part in X4 that I can send to anyone willing to help. thanks in advance, Shane
  10. I have what cam on it from dell but when I hook up the second monitor it will only clone the first and when i go into control panel and click on display and go to monitor it onley shows one and on my laptop when i connect a second monitor it shows 2 ,one with a 1 and one with a 2 on it?
  11. I recently switched to version 10 from 9 and i find myself needing more real-estate than previously. I have a Dell T7400 workstation with a 22 in monitor and my graphics card is a Quadro FX 1700 and it has the ports for 2 monitors but I only get a clone of the first. Am i setting something up wrong or does this card not support dual monitors. I am also running Xp pro.Any help would be appreciated

  13. Im new to Master Cam X and I wanting to know if Master Cam has anything like solid works has for bringing in the part file and letting the software separate the core and cavity for easier mold building? Just asking?
