I just came across 2 Haas VF-5 3-axis mills. I want to find some work for them but have no real ideas or promising contacts on how to go about finding the work. I've been a programmer and operator for close to 10 years now. I live in southern ontario, canada. Any ideas or tips whould be greatly appreciated guys.

ok gotcha! Thanks guys! Now one more question. the feed rates seem too slow for industry, i have now question they're correct in relarionship to the rpm, is they're a way of speeding them up? should i just increase them by 10 20 30 etc percent together?

Hi, Im just starting out on a cnc lathe and cant figure out my feeds and speeds. I am using SECO book ( they have all their inserts and holders plus formulas for calculating feeds and speeds) but the numbers im getting dont seem right. Does anyone have an easier way to calculate feeds, speeds, cut depths, finising roughing, etc. Thanks

We are currently running one haas machine and were thinking about getting one more. Do we need another mastercam seat? And can we run 2 machines with one computer, specifically "drip" feeding into the machine instead of loading disks. If so how... Thanks

Can someone explain what different levels of mastercam are, and how do you know what level a programmer is? IN the employment area of this site employers ask for level 1, 0r 3 and stuff what does it mean, and where can i get these levels that are required? thanks
