Hi Guys
Do any of you guys know how an operator can use one program and rotate it a round say the likes of a tombstone using G54.2 dynamic offset.

Hi Guys
I am now running into problems with my Z over travel! The solution for me is to put tools in longer holders! My question is can I get my post to output the minimum gauge length of tool holder while also allowing for the overall length of cutting tool needed to machine my component based on this machine so that the operators don't have to come to me every time the machine over travels!!
Cheers D
I've checked the programming manual and there is a G05P2 option mentioned for high speed machining which may work but I'm worried about machine accuracy! I will have to do some tests! There is no mention of inputting any "K" values at any stage.
Hi all
Recently I have been asking some questions about a Mazak Variaxis with Fusion control and I have had god success from you guys!
I am now looking at a feed problem on the machine, I've turned off the inverse time feed and I am trying to run programmed feeds but the machine is very jumpy when profiling semi complex 2D components and not a smooth movement at the programmed feed, I am assuming that the G61.1 is affecting this and that there may a parameter tolerance on the machine that I need to adjust, or a code that I can input into the program. Would anybody have any info on this as the machine technicians here don't seem to have the knowledge!
cheers D
Hi all
We have just istalled a Mazak Variaxis and I am successfully progamming it using Dynamic compensation but my question is do I need to Clamp and Unclamp the table after each B or C movement as we are a high production machine shop and the clamping and unclamping takes quite alot of time.

Hi all
Why does my latest version of MCAM jump back to my Top Tplane and Cplane after I create a toolpath even though I am working on a side or newly created T&C planes?
Cheers D
Thanks Tinny
This makes a whole lot more sense than programming jobs incremently, if you can get more info on this I would appreciate it.
Cheers Diarmuid
