where is this option in X mr2?

Ok I am in Mastercam with a blank screen. I pick File then Open with my mouse. From this point it takes 31 secs for the window (where you pick the file) to open. thanks

Guys it is not the load time. it is the time it takes for the windows gui to open where you select the file. the load time rocks

local only I deleted all network shares just to be sure

60 Gig hard drive 40 Gig available I defrag often this morning was the last time.

Windows XP AMD Athlon Chip 64 Processor 3000+ 350 MHz, 512 MB ram NVIDIA Geforce 4 420 GO 32M toolpath and geometry creation work great once file is loaded. 30 sec from file open untill dialog box opens selecting files in dialog box is fine. Thanks

guys I have tried everything I can think of to speed this up. Ver 9 worked correctly. x is working correctly on dell workstation but not on laptop workstation. thanks for any help

help I installed xp service pack 2 now mastercam does not see the hasp I tried to uninstall and reinstall the hasp device driver with no luck. comes back with error failed to start alladin service. Doug

no this was a c-hook for creating the geometry for a cam in 2-d Doug

Does any one know what happen to the c_hook for creating a cam profile? or has it been relocated? Thanks Doug
