  1. went vo tec for electronics graduated highschool joined the army guard did that while working at pizza place (i was 19yrs old) nov. 1996 buddy calls me up says he's got job for me putting together packaging machinery for a oem , i said "SWEET " 3 weeks later i start here worked for 8-9 months straight with out missing a day then i fell part missing day coming in late. higher ups got fed up and our machine shop got slow and thats were i went, worked drill press and sander for about year then it happen i move up from sander to machine work,squareing parts up, making parts with 2 holes and a slot (2 place dec clearence holes) i always wondered how they got there (the slots). then moved to 2 axis super max conversational analam, the man should me the way, i got to use mastercam v7, i couldn't believe it , it blew my mind. eek.gif i draw it, it cuts it, (well after a couple broken end mills and alot of reading and questions.(i gave this guy all his grey hair) we got a haas vf3 got to do more programming, then a v4 two mini mills then another vf4 and a tool room mill, i never though i'd be doing multi axis toolpathing

  3. i tried both ways they work good, mill man keep it pumping through it's a good thing

    p.s. i used the g154 p99 at the end to bring the table forward and to center works SWEET

  4. mill man i tried your post mod, i get a g154 p0 that freaks my haas controller out, i guess i have to start at g55 which is p1 confused.gif

     

     

    I was also tring to mod the post to go from g54 thru g59 then g154 p1 etc.. follow me? but i'm not that good yet eek.gif

  5. great thats another way i'll have to try out on the machine with the new software , crazy . the new haas software has the workoffsets named

     

    g154 p1 (g110)

    g154 p2 (g111)

    etc..

     

    i wonder if the older software will understand this format, only one way to find out, thanks mill man for the code cheers.gif
