  1. This post format feed rate as: fmt F 8 fr$ # Feedrate Like you said if feed rate is "force" then the "fr" would be like this "*fr" , I've searched the whole post but couldn't find where the "force" (*fr) is, I think this post created by the In-House Post DEV Team, and can be download in the postprocessor download, if you the In-House Post DEV Team don't mind, please find it for me, your help is always appreciated. Than you very much.
  2. I'd like to have questions if anybudy can help I indeed appreciate for your help. Question is: why the MPSUBREP.PST (any version) kept repeating the FEED RATE on evey Z depths ? What post line to modify to eliminate this extra outputing FEED RATE ? If I use MPMASTER.PST or MPFAN.PST post, the FEED RATE output on the first Z depth only, even there's 10, 20 different Z depths. 3. Hi John and Ashan. If you 2 don't mind, step by step(click by click) please. Hi Jay, I got what you said, I think the ones who did the 3D tool path just wanted to hide(keep secret) the way he create 3D tool path from the other learning, that 3D part is not so difficult to create 3D tool path. But my interesting part is how to create 2D geometry from 3D surface, this I never did before, thanks all, any further ideals, advices are always good(best) for me.
  4. Hello every buddies. I uploaded the file named WAFERS WING OP4.ZIP for my question. How to create 2D geometry from 3D ( trimed or solid ) surfaces, if you look at the red color as rough tool path, the yellow and blue are finish tool paths, in the OP. manager you can see the tool paths to rough and finish surfaces are absolutely using 2D geometry chains. This file given to me by a De Anza college student, he knows me working as machinist then ask me same question as I am asking you now. I kind a stuck couldn't figure it out how to create such geometry. Any every responds, helps, graetly appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Thank you Andrew What you've said is possibly possible, sometimes before I had doubt in mind that what I've been doing is possible or not, now for sure it's possible, so I'm on my way, and on my own, I'll figure it out ,atleast I have your clue and won't be afraid of being lost. I read your post in some other topics, and see that alot of machinist programmers need your advices. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
  6. Hi everyone. I feel so sorry cause I made some of you become angry at me, well myself I don't mind, the only thing I mind is talk to someone who would share the ideal, and I never get angry at any of you, because I am busy being angry at my enemy who killed thousand people in NY at Sept-11. Once again thank you. Hi Andrew This is the program to run 8 parts, 2 parts on each face of the toombstone, and to be less complicated I only made one tool for 3 cuts, 1 for the front, 1 for right side, 1 for left side. Please take a look at it, if you see something weird, or funny please (don't laugh at me) let me know, I so badly wanna MYSELF MODIFY THE POST that I can post to have the output something similar like this program, I'll PM you the graphic file. Your help is greatly appreciated. Quote of the day: The sad thing is the enemy killed my people but I couldn't kill the enemy.
  7. Hello MR. MfgEng Looks like you the only one I can talk with, the reason I signed up for this forum because I think the forum is the place where the people use to expose the problem, the knowleged, the ideal and may be the great thought. I think of selling and buying in the forum is kinda weird to me. Anyway, back to the post processor, I'v got what you said 'bout the offset B value. I'll post a completted program for you to take a look at in next time and let me know how you think. Thank you.
  8. Than you MfgEng The MPSUBREP won't work for HORIZONTAL machine at all, as 12 years on the road working for several state of the art modern machine shop I ever saw anyone in the Sillicon valley could post multiple parts for HORIZONTAL machine with MC,I personally love MC, it's way ahead compare to the other, the only thing I don't feel convenient is sub programs ,I hope some day they can store the subs and I can do subcall anytime, anywhere during making tool paths.
  9. Hello Mr. James Meyette As a machinist I work for my living, I used MC since Ver.3., all the men I worked for, you know they never want to purchase the customized posts at all everytime I ask, the answer was "why have to spend money for that, you the programmer gotta know some't like that. Well Mr. Meyette, I wouldn't ask for fish, and either buy fish, but I wanna to be taugh to fish that way I can eat for the whole life. Any way If you can reveal your secret so that I can from there to fish by myself, hope some day I am good enough to teach men to fish. For now I can do almost pretty much with MC, my only problem left over with MC is posting multiple parts for horizontal machine. Than you Mr. Meyette
  10. This program is manually edited to run very simple parts, which is 13 cuts,4 cuts for end-mill, and drill 9 holes. My question is can I use MasterCam to program one part, then use a CUSTOMIZED POST to have 16 parts are setup on a 4 face tombstone,4 parts each side, and the program may use G52 coor. shift for part origine,or incrementally G54 P1...G54 P2...G54 P48.... for part origine.?
