  3. im working in mastercam x5 and when i change tools in lathe it homes all the way for every tool change i have tried to set the user defined section in parameters but it still homes has anyone had this problem?

    Im useing mastercam x5 lathe on a tl-1 haas lathe but when i tell it my max rpm and min rpm it wont change speeds it stays a constant rpm its posting a g97 in front of my g50 and g96 so its not varying has anyone els had this problem?
  6. we just got a haas tl-1 at work and ive been programing lathe parts on mastercam x5 and i was woundering what machine do i need to pick for my default and how do you set up and use constant surface feed
  7. i have started to program parts on a tl 1 haas lathe and i am programing on mastercam x5. what happens is i tell the roughimg pass to cut .02 deep but instead it gose .1 on the first cut it dosent want to take the numbers i put in dose anyone have any ideas ?
  8. we have just bought a haas tl-1 cnc lathe and we are trying to find out what kind tool post would be best. We are thinging between a dorian or a aloris if anyone has one or has used one what are your thoughts. We are looking at a dorian sd35cxa tool post dose anyone know how it is please let me know. Also is the tcmt style cutters good for general puropse turning? thank you i know this is alot but it would really help Talley
  9. yes it is just a small cut i have to make then i have to size it when i turn it over
  10. i tried that but it wont change ive done this before and it worked but i dont know why it wont now
  11. im useing mastercam x5 and i have to face a part -.02 and after that i have to cut deeper into the parth i put my top of stock -.02 and my depth at -.05 but it only cuts it to .03 have any ideas ?
  12. i need help seting this up i have to start .05 below a fixture i have but when i put -.05 on the top of stock section it wont do it it still starts at my touch off point any one have ant ideas? thanks Adam
