Thanks everyone, lollipop cutter is 6 inches long, 1/2 inch dia. at top tapering down to 3/8 ball. Spindle will go 24,000 dont think that would be wise! Was hoping to hear what others are doing.

Thanks for the response, Carbide, 3 flute, Aluminium cylinder heads. Currently using factory spec of 3000 rpm but seems too slow.

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the correct place to ask but, I am using MC to cnc port heads and I would like to know what spindle speeds to use for a 3/8 lollipop cutter in alloy. Just starting out and would be gratefull of any help.
