  1. I am trying to run x3 on my windows seven 64 bit it runs good except for when I pre select geometry. When I do this it starts running real slow and most of the time it locks up. I have the windows xp virtual machine set up. thanks
  2. I re-installed x2 this time I did not use the migration utility. I used the fadal format 2 4xmill.mmd machine def. I then created a square and created a toolpath around the out side with a 1" end mill it did fine. Then I put a radius on the top left corner and regenerated the tool path this worked fine. But I put the same radius on the lower right corner and I get cutter comp error. I can usually figure this stuff out but this has got me
  3. I put a file "end cap top cut" on the ftp site in the folder mcx2 files. but i think i have something wrong with my control def. or machine def. because it is not just this file anything i open i get the same thing. but if i draw it and program it it works fine.
  4. the lead in lead out is the same on both versions and the comp controls are both set to computer
  5. I have installed X2 side by side xmr2 everything went ok until I tried to run an old program. I can open the file and back plot it. It does fine but if I regen the tool path I get a cutter comp error.
  6. I am interested in learning more about modifying and writing post can anyone recommend a book on the subject.
