Thanks guys,I got it using 2900rpm,.2feed rate solid carbide drills.After 11 holes the drill has had it ,50% of the cutting edge is flat but that was enough to finish the job.

I am trying to drill .035X.510deep holes in A-2 material with poor results so far.Does anyone have feed and speed suggestions?? drills are hss.thanks

When letting mcam calculate feeds and speeds for you ,do you find them usefull only as a starting point and fine tune them ,or are they close enough to use them in your operations? thanks for your input.

Did you recieve any good printed referance materials with the class ? If not, do you know any good ones to suggest? Thanks for the intelligent responses so far.(I have already ordered a demo disc so I can practice at home)
