Phil, I turned on the semi-finish and that works, but I don't want to take a complete semi-finish pass, to much wasted time cutting same path as the rough. Thanks Gary

When I rough turn a part I want to leave .01 stk. on faces and .01 per side on dia. I already have the settings for this but it will not leave a constaint .01 on the dia. Never less but some places a lot more. Also the roughing pass will not be exactly what I ask for depth, like .100 or .150 per side. Yes I did turn off equally. Would like toknow what I'm doing wrong. I'd like to know how many are using Windows XP Professional for there operating system? I'm still having commuication problems at 2400 baud and no dwell at the EOL. If I use .3 sec. dwell it works ok, just takes a long time to load. NOT AN OPTION. This has been a two month problem and have not had a good answer yet. We've tried a seperate serial board, doesn't help. Tried differant computer with Windows XP Professional, doesn't help. I'm beginning to think Mastercam has a problem working with this operating system. HELP Thank Gary

Try putting a .3 second dwell at end of each line. It takes longer to down load but it will work. Gary

No it is not caining the whole part only one entity, I have to pick the last to get to end. There is not arrows on the part at all to show you what it chained. Gary

Why doesn't my green and red arrows show up when I chain a part. All I ever see is a flash of the green arrow when I click the first entity. Thanks Gary

When I rough turn or bore and ask to take .1 stock per pass the nc file comes back with different numbers, not even. I've tried equal cuts and not equal cuts. If I tell it to take .1 per side, thats what I want to see. Help. [email protected]

We have changed our operating system from Windows'98 to WindowsXP and now I cannot upload and download from our Mitsubishi 330, M2 and M3 controls we get E20 and Parity H alarms on the machine controls.
