Can someone help me identify this fault that once in a while pops up on my screen and my mill machine freezes right at this moment? It says x max overlag or y/z. Any body have a clue? By the way I use Anilam 3300mk controller if that matters.
Thanks
I'm very new to mastercam and was wondering if anybody can help to this simple task: milling three part located in three fixtures? I have created toolpath for one part but how do you transfer it to do 2 more parts in one operation?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
I have tried your recommendations and here is what came out when I used backplotting the process:3hrs 45 min just to cut those damn 1.5 mm grooves. Feedrate I used is 50 mm/min with taking .75 mm per cut. Its still seems to be way off. What did I miss?
I have posted the file in ftp under mc9 files folder. The toolpath in problem is green contour lines. If anybody can suggest anything to solve my problem I would really appreciate it.
thanks
Can somebody recommend the most efficient way to perform a simple groove
operation with this dimensions 1.5 mm wide and 3 mm deep on top surface of
the aluminum plate. Groove goes kind of circular shape on top of the plate.
When I perform pocket creation toolpath with mastercam, the setup sheet
says that it will take like 100 hours plus. Any suggestions? I needa little
help, please.
Thank you in advance
Can someone suggest a solution to my little problem? I have created the toolpath and saved the post but when I take the floppy to my machine it will not find the post there. Machine looks for file with extension *.pmc. When I edited the post as *.pmc it finds it ok but on verify machine displays bunch of errors. The post I was using is mpfan and my machine is Fryer Machine with Fanuc controls. Thanks
