  1. I am having trouble with my corner radius. I am projecting .38" and .25" corner radius' onto a contour surface. I am cutting 5-axis and staying normal to the surface. The results of a cut part give me .281 for the .38" and .313 for the .25". The window I am projecting down is correct. (I have double checked this again and again)Has anyone run in to this problem? Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
  2. I have come across this problem just recently. On your operations manager, the fourth category is a file path. These paths must be the same for all operations. Also, they must be .nci not .ncd. To fix this problem, right click the mouse when the toolpath name is selected. Go to options-change NCI destination. From here, you can type the name you want. Make sure to add .nci. Example C:program filesmcam8millncipart.nci Remember, all toolpaths must contain the same name. To fix all, select all toolpaths before trying to fix one. Let me know if this works for you.
  3. I HAVE A THERMWOOD 67 DT. I HAVE MASTERCAM V8.
  4. I have a dual table router. I have multiple fixtures per table. The fixtures are not the same pattern on each table so I will need to modify my posted mastercam file. Can anybody recommend the best way to go about this? I am currently looking into using a sub or label but would like to see if anybody has already fought this battle. Thanks.
  5. Thanks the the tips! I will try them today. Also, any idea as to when V8.1 will be coming out?
  6. I think I am having a problem projecting a circle onto one of my parts. It is a contoured part with three distinct surfaces. I am projecting normal to the plane. When using a curve 5-axis, I can't toolpath the circle without the cutter jumping where the different surfaces meet (I am chaining in one shot). Right now I am using a contour toolpath and my hole is undersize about .015" (I have checked all possible non-programming issues). Can anyone shed some light?
