Does anyone have any insight on how to program a ball screw with X4 lathe? Is there a way to profile a thread? Cheers, Cuecas

I am new to using X4 Lathe and am trying to rough an ID and when it completes the last rough pass the tool wants to exit through the part. So I changed the tool home position under parameter smaller than the ID of the bore and when I backplot the rapid retract looks good, but when I post it out the tool still wants to exit through the part.
