Help I spilled water on my laptop and crashed my hard drive. I loaded Mastercam V9.1 on my new home computer(Window 7) and it says hasp not found when start Mill. The computer has the latest divers for the hasp loaded. Thanks in advance

John Paris Your method sort of worked. I lost my depth cuts and the tool doesn't retract between pockets. I still having to do a lot of hand programming. Chris: You method is a definite improvement. The tool jumps up between depth cuts, but that is ok. It would be nice to keep the tool down for all the depth cuts but I'll take it. Thanks alot and keep in touch

Is there a way to keep the tool down when cleaning out corners on Pocket Remachining toolpaths. I am machining a rectangular pocket with a 1/2" flat mill and is trying to clean the corners with a .032 bull nose. On each corner I'm taking a .010" depth of cut with a 0.005" step over. On each pass in the corner the tool lifts .010" and positions itself for the next cut. I have set my clearance, retract and feed to 0" incremental clicked every "keep tool own" box I could find but the tool keeps lifting between passes. Please Help DAR

Help Help, I just purchased X2 and I can't use it. I been using Ver. 9 and expected X2 to be somewhat similar. I press 'C, L, E' on my keyboard expecting to get create line endpoint command and nothing happens. What happen to the keyboard in X2? If CNC took it away they are making a big mistake.

Hello All: I am a CNC programmer who specializes in electrode milling for mold makers. I have techniques for offsetting geometry needed to create complex electrodes that orbit when they burn. One of my customers sent me some files with file extensions I haven't seen before. The files are File_Name.PRT.2 & File_Name.PRT.2.txt. I’m not sure how to deal with these files or what prgram produced them. I believe they contain 2D drawing files. How do I veiw these files or convert them into something different? Any help appreciated...Thanks for your reply DAR
